When It Rains...
COVID & A flat tire
Thank goodness for all that is lovely and good in this world, specifically fictional books, friends, and coffee.
This week one of my tires went flat on my car while I was halfway across town and the next day I woke up and realized my annoying cold was full-blown COVID!! :(
I’m not a spiritual person anymore, but talk about odd timing?? I’ve had to take this week and spend half of it in bed. I still have two toddlers though so it meant they were home with me.
Thankfully we spent a good deal of time snuggling and watching movies and I watched them play outside.
Now, back to books!!
What are you currently reading, dear reader?
My newest book, Call Me Sir, launched on Tuesday and it’s been incredible seeing people ordering it.
𝓒𝓪𝓵𝓵 𝓜𝓮 𝓢𝓲𝓻 is a MM millionaire romance.
Cole and Sal are nothing alike.
𝓒𝓸𝓵𝓮
My boss hates me and I have no idea why. Maybe it’s because I’m not interested in only being a desk jockey. I do my job well, dress how I want, and have sex on breaks. It’s off the clock, so who cares?
𝓢𝓪𝓵
Being gay wasn’t an option for me growing up, my father kicked me out his life ten years ago for it. Yet Cole struts into the office dressing too casually and openly talking about being gay. It’s not fair. Not that I can really complain. He’s good at his job and is going to help plan the first ever LGBTQ+ gala Bayfront has ever seen. I jeopardize everything, though, when the unexpected happens at work…

If glares could kill, I’m halfway to the morgue.
The anger blazing in his eyes threatens to torch me from here.
I’m not sure why he’s so upset but I know it’s meant for me.
Salvatore, or “Sal” as his friends have been calling him all night, scuffs the chalk on the end of the cue and damn near busts it in half. I can’t imagine he has too many friends though.
“What’s his deal?” Anthony takes a long pull from his drink, likely oblivious to how I swallow hard at the question.
“I don’t know...” I mumble.
“He’s acting sus.”
I don’t say anything.
“You’re acting sus too.”
“I’m not,” I grit through barred teeth. I want to tell him he’s too old to say “sus” but I keep my mouth shut.
“Whatever. Don’t tell me.”
I should say I don't have a clue why our boss is staring me down.
His normally cold, calm disposition is faltering. I turn away and chug my beer.

This novel was so fun to write. Sal and Cole are two characters with great chemistry. I hope you enjoy their story, in the meantime if you’re looking for more reads, here is another recommendation:
Having a dirty job has never felt so good…
The Librarian
Now in my thirties, I’ve accepted that a mousy librarian like me probably won’t meet the man of my dreams or have exotic romps. But, late at night, when I shelve the romance books at the library, I can certainly skim the pages and get lost in the fantasy…
The Janitor
I never dreamed of cleaning for a living, but my brother and I stumbled into running the most lucrative custodial business in town. In fact, we’re so busy that I’ve been covering the night shift at the local library myself. Imagine my surprise when I discover the cute, quiet librarian being naughty in the romance section. Man, my night just got a whole lot hotter…
